Extraordinary Parochial Church Meetings 16 October 2022
1.30PM AT HAMBLEDON CHURCH
3.00PM AT BUSBRIDGE CHURCH
All parishioners and church members are invited and encouraged to attend the EPCMs held by the Archdeacon of Surrey, Paul Davies on the Sunday 16 November.
At the meeting members of the Electoral Roll will be asked to vote on whether to join the three parishes of Busbridge, Hambledon and Godalming into one, and become a Godalming Minster.

The motion for the EPCM vote is:
To unite the parish of Hambledon with the parishes of Busbridge and Godalming to create the Godalming Minster, that will be committed to the following principal goals and parameters:
-
Introduce a more coherent strategic approach to mission across the Greater Godalming area
-
Create a united and mutually supportive clergy leadership team across 4 church sites
-
See more people coming to faith in each of our churches by offering a variety of distinctive service styles
-
Introduce a contemporary service at SPSP to create informal family worship with associated children’s ministries
-
Build more effective relationships with local schools, the Town Council & local businesses
-
Strengthen our commitment to those in need.
To vote
You must be on the electoral roll of the church you wish to vote at. i.e. If you are on the Hambledon Electoral Roll, you need to attend the Hambledon church EPCM.
You must attend an EPCM in person. There are no proxy, remote or other votes.
Please note, the church electoral roll is different to the the local council roll of voters.
The deadline to join the Electoral Roll is now passed.
***ELECTORAL ROLL APPLICATOIN DEADLINE: 23 SEPTEMBER 2022***
